Subsequently, a grand scientific workshop on Basic Trauma Life Support was held in Lagos with over 20 experts in attendance. More than 200 Medical Personnel were trained under the scheme. OTHER INFORMATION:

Dr Orjiakor established the Daniel Orjiako Memorial Foundation (DOMF) back in 1996 in memory of his father. A non-profit and non-governmental body engaged in Philanthropic activities as well as sponsorship and award of scholarships to deserving indigent students. Over eight thousand pupils (8,000) are currently on a free primary education scheme of DOMF in Uli, Anambra State. Over two thousand students (2000) have benefited from the post-primary school scholarship awards. One hundred and twenty (120) university scholarships have already been awarded by DOMF in the areas of science, medicine, pharmacy, agriculture as well as civil, mechanical and petroleum engineering. The Foundation operates an employment programme for retired but active teachers in Uli, Anambra State. The DOMF also provides free health care services to the elderly and micro-credits to rural farmers, especially rural women.
