Chief of Personal Staff to the President; was born in Warri Bendel State on the 16th of August 1936 to the late Justice Arthur Prest. Mr. Michael Prest's Primary Education started at Lagos Government School. He later atten ded St. Gregorys College Lagos from 1949-1954 and the Nigerian College of Technology Enugu 1959-1961. From 1963-1970 he studied at the University College London. In 1966, he obtained a first degree in Law (LL.B.), two years later he obtained a Masters degree in law (LL.M.). He obtained a Diploma of the Institute of Air and Space Law in 1970. He got his B.L. in 1978. Mr. Prest wored with the Nigerian Broadcasting Corporation, Lagos from 1955—1962. He was with the British Library be tween 1970 and 1976. A father of four children, Mr. Prest has travelled widely to many African countries, America and Europe. At his leisure, he enjoys taking photographs, play ing music, table tennis and visiting theatres.
