SULEMAN, Mallam Muhammad Bashar

He was born on the 5th of June, 1948 and hails from Suleja in Niger State. His educational career began at the Dawaki Primary School, Abuja from 1955-1961, he then joined Abuja Secondary School from 1962-1966 and then Bida Secondary School from 1967-1968. Mal. Mohammed then proceeded to Moscow State University, USSR from 1969-1970 and also Leningrad State University of Culture, USSR. He also attended a certificate course at the University College of Librarians, Aberystwyth, Wales, UK. His working experiences include Assistant Librarian, Assistant Lecturer, Librarian, Lecturer, Assistant Chief Librarian, Assistant Director, Deputy Director etc. He is also a professional member of the Nigerian Library Association(NLA), Nigeria School Library Association(NSLA), Member and Treasurer- NLA Abuja And Niger State. He has also participated in the organisation and attendance of several conferences and workshops on library management. He is happily married with children
