• Appointed and Elected Speaker oftheState House ofAssembly became the First Speaker oftheNew Ebonyi State House ofAssembly. • Gavea brilliant leadership ofthe House as the Speaker and Chair ofthe Proceedings ofthe House. Ile repositioned the Stateas a stateof growing economy and of high level of democratic practice. Ile was elected in 2003 into the Senate to represent Ebonyi Central Senatorial District. As a Senator, his integrity, courage, pragmatism and dynamic approach to issues blossomed in the Senate and heestablished himself firmly in the affairs oflhe Upper Legislative Assembly. • I las served as a Facilitator in the Senate. Awards and Honours • Award for Excellent Performance by a West African International Magazine and NUJ Senator Ucha is a passionate family man, happily married wilh six children.
