Was born on May 25, 1934 at Nguzu Edda in the Afikpo Local Government area; He was educated at Church of Scotland Mission School, Nguzu, Enitonna High School, Port Harcourt; He also atten ded the Inns of Court School of Law, London; Holborn College of Law, London and Nigerian Law School, Lagos; He holds the LL.B. London degree and Barrister at Law (B.L.) certificate; Mr. Ugwumba is a legal practitioner; He was a member of the Imo State Public Accounts Com mittee; He is married and has eight children; He believes in freedom of man.
