Mr. Ignatius N. M. Ukata Anambra -£ State Commissioner for Industries and Technology was born on February 1, 1941 in Uzo-Uwani Local Government irea. Heschooled at St. Joseph'sPrimary School, Nsukka, from 1948 to 1951 and Sacred Heart School, Oguta, Imo State from 1952 to 1954. Thereafter, he attended the Holy Ghost College, Owerri, from 1955 to 1959. After his secondary school education, he read for the G.C.E. 'A' Level privately and passed two papers - History and British Constitution. Mr. Ukuta studied law at the Uni versity of Nigeria, Nsukka, from 1963 and graduated in 1966. After his graduation could not immediately take off because of the Civil War. But this was done after the war. He was called to the Bar in 1971 and holds the LL.B, B.L. degree in lawand Diplomain law.
