Susan Umeozor was born in Ezinifite Aguta Local Government Area of Anambra State. She is happily married with four children. She had her secondary school education at Asaba Girls Grammar School, Asaba, Delta State, Nigeria and proceeded to North Carolina State University, Raleigh, USA where she obtained a Bachelors degree in Psychology (Cum Laude), December 1986 and then to North Carolina Central University, Durham, USA for a Masters in Library Science (MLS), May 1987. She holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) from the University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria, December 2001, and Ph.D in Library and Information Science in October 2011 from the University of Uyo, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. She is a Chartered Librarian with Librarians’ Registration Council of Nigeria (LRCN). Dr. Umeozor had attended management training in Galilee International Management Institute for Managing University Libraries for Online Education, and many other national and international conferences. She has published a number of journal articles
