His Royal Highness, Mohammadu Tukur Usman, a nominated member, was born on October 9, 1943 in Faskari, Katsina State. He at tended Secondary School, Katsina,1958—63; Kings College, Lagos,1964—65; Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria,. 1966—69 and Syracuse University, USA, 1977-1978. He is a traditional ruler (Sarkin Yamman Katsina) and the district head of Faskari. He is married and has seven children. His hobbies are farming and reading.
