Joined Peoples Democratic Party in 1998 Contested election for a seat at the National Assembly to represent Ogbaru FederalConstituency ofAnambra State. Won Election in 1999 to the Federal House of Assembly to represent Ogbaru FederalConstituency. Became anoutspoken member oflhe Federal House especially in the areas of Transportation and Industrialization ofthe Country. • Did brilliantly in his first term in the House 1999 2003 • Given another mandate by his Constituents and he won a second term which he is serving now.
