was born In 1943 at Langtang. He attended Sudan United Mission, Primary School Lang tang from 1952-59 and the Boys Secondary School Gindiri from 1960- 66, where he obtained the West Afri can School Certificate in 1964 and the Higher School Certificate in 1966. 1967 saw him at the Ahmadu Bello University where he obtained the Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (M.BB S) Degree in 1973. After his Higher School Dr. Wazhi taught for sometime at the Govern ment Technical School, Kano. After graduating from the University, he joined the defunct Benue-Plateau State Government on October 8th, 1973 as a Medical Officer. He was posted to the then General Hospital, Jos, (Now Murtala Mohammed Hospital) for his Housemanship. He was fully registered as a Medical Practitioner in October, 1974. During his National Youth Ser vice, 1974-75, Dr. Wazhi worked at the General Hospital, Badagry, Lagos State. After his service, he came back to the State and was posted to the Lafia General Hospital as Medical Officer 1. He later worked at Govern ment Hospitals Akwanga, Jankwano and Maternity Hospitals and Medical Superintendent in charge. He resigned his appointment in September, 1978 as .Senior Medical Officer to become a private Medical Practitioner. He set up the Plateau Clinic here in Jos in October, 1978. He was appointed to his present post on May 1st, 1980. !'c is married with three children.
