BASHIR MOHAMMED DALHATU

Mr. Bashir Mohammed Dalhatu was born on November 12, 1949 in Dutse Town, Kano. He is a nominated member of the Constituent Assembly. Mr. Dalhatu went to Dutse Junior Primary School, 1956—59 and to Sumaila Senior Primary School, Kano State, between 1960 and 1962. He also attended Kano Government Col lege between 1963 and 1967 and Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, where he read law. He was called to the Bar in 1973. In 1976, he attended a post-graduate course in London. He is now a private legal practitioner and principal partner, Dalhatu and Co. Kano. Mr. Dalhatu is married and blessed with five children. He was a member of the Constitution Draf ting Committee and takes reading and travelling as hobbies.
