Mr. Adamu Sabo Gadau was born in 1944. He hails from Gadau in Bauchi State. He is an elected member representing Katagum West Federal Constituency of Bauchi State. He went to Primary School from 1951—57, Secondary School from 1958-1959 and Teachers' Training College between 1960—1963. He also attended a course in educational planning and administration from 1976-1977. Between 1979 and 1980 he atteded an advanced diploma course in local government. He is a local government secretary in Bauchi State. Alhaji Adamu is married with twelve children. His hobbies are games and farming.
