junior Primary School, Bargaja in 1972 from January to March. He was later the headmaster of the Senior Town Primary School, Isa from April 1972 to 1976. He also worked as a Public Relations Of ficer, Roads Nigeria Limited, Sokoto main of fice from August 1976 to April 1977. From April 1977 to March 1979 Alhaji Rilwanu was a Government Co-operative Officer. Later in 1979, he won a seat as a member of the House of Representatives on the ticket of the National Party of Nigeria. He represents Isa Constituency, Sokoto State. Alhajis Rilwanu takes interest in reading, basket-ball, swimming and travelling. He is also a farmer and a businessman.
