ABEGUNDE, Hon. Babatunde Joseph

Hon. Babatunde Joseph Abegunde was born at Aisegba-Ekiti, Ondo State in 1947. He cultivated the idea of self reliance from youth due to his emulation of his parents, par ticularly his father who was always determined to make a success of every task before him. His father, Mr. Solomon Abegunde, a farmer at Aisegba-Ekiti has eight chidlren while his mother Madam Felicia Olarinmade, a trader, had three children. Hon. Babatunde Abegunde attended the Holy Trinity School Aisegba-Ekiti from January 1954 to 1960 to obtain the First School Leaving Certificate. . ' . He gained admission into St. Jude's Secon dary Modern School, Aisegba-Ekiti in January 1961 and left the school in 1962 for the Gram mar School, Ifaki-Ekiti, from 1963-1967, where he passed the West African School Certificate Examination in 1967.
