later transferred to the S.U.M. Primary School, Januwa Kogi from 1966 to 1967. After his primary school edcuation, he went to King's Commercial College, Mkpar from 1968 to 1970 and later to the Institute of Education, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria from 1973 to 1979. In addition to the above schools, Hon. Gbaaondo underwent several courses in the teaching profession. Certificate held include Teacher's Grade II Certificate and the G.C.E. "0" Level in History and Bible knowledge. After his school career, Hon. Gbaaondo join ed the Ministry of Education where he worked as a class room teacher for nine years. Also he served the Takum Native Authority as a tax scribe from 1960 to 1965.
