JEGA, Hon. Musa Abdullahi

Hon. Musa Abdullahi Jega was born in Jega, Sokoto State, in 1952. He is a member of the Great Nigeria Peoples' Party in the House of Representatives and represents Maiyama Con stituency, Sokoto State. His parents, Mallam Abdullahi and Mallama Ladi Hirchin were farmers by profession, and they had four chidlren. Hon. Jega started his early education at the Junior Primary School, Sabon Gari, Jega. in 1961 and finished up at the Jega Town Senior Primary School in 1967 where he obtained a Primary School Leaving Certificate. He proceeded to the Sultan Abubakar Col lege, Sokoto in 1969 and obtained a Grade II Teachers' Certificate in R.S.A. in 1973. At a seminar in the college of Arts and Arabic Studies in Sokoto in 1977, he obtained a Testimonial in Arabic Supervision.
