born in 1943 after his Koranic and Islamic Educa tion, Alhaji Idi Kuri attended Adult Education Gass in 1962 and was awarded a certificate. Alhaji Idi Kuri was until his election, a successful businessman and a prosperous farmer. He was conferred with a traditional title of Sarkin Noma for DebaDistrict. He was elected into the Bauchi State House of Assembly as NPN member for Deba. South.
