ELENDU, Hon. Nnenna Ukeje

Hon. Nnenna Ukeje Elendu was born on the 24th October 1969. She had her early education at Federal Government Girls College Owerri where she obtained Senior School Certificate. She bagged a degree in English Language at the University of Benin and a Post Graduate Degree in Mass Communication from the University of Lagos. Prior to her political career, Ukeje enjoyed a successful career in the hotel management industry. She distinguished herself as a Business Development Manager with HUDSON PETROLEUM. She then moved to PROTEA HOTEL Victoria Island as a Hotel Representative and later as a Director between 2002-2005. Ukeje has stated that her passion for public service comes from her father, late Captain Elendu-Ukeje, who was a decorated pilot with the Nigerian Air Force and Nigerian Airways prior to his retirement.
