Before his present titk of Dan lya and Distria Head of Dawakin Kudu, he has ako been the Distria Head of Bichi (1983), Dan Isan Kano, Danburan Kano, Tafidan Kano andBarden Kano in that order. The Dan lyan Kano ako served as a member Kano State Pilgrims' Welfare Agency 1974 to 1979 and National Pilgrims Board from 1980 to 1983. He was ako Trustee and Vice-Chairman Kano State Musabaka Committee from 1988 to date and Member Board of Directors, Nigeria Hotekfrom 1998 to 2000.
