He obtained Teachers' Grade II Certificate in 1976, N.C.E. from Advanced Teachers' Col lege, Azare in 1981, B.A.Ed. (1985), and M.Ed. (1988) from University of Jos. Mr. Amos is a teacher and was a student activist. He is married and his hobbies are reading, photography and travelling.
