On graduation, he took upjob as the Executive Assistant to the Governor ofEnugu State on Political and Local Government Mattersadiscipline he studied in the University. This was atrue test of his ability to apply academic theories and principles ol governance and leadership he studied. Ile distinguished himself in the new post and has made positive and constructive contributions on the administrative and political system ol the state and the country in general. Besides his enthusiasm and nationalism, he is clean and honest in his discharge of duties. He sees success in terms ofthe amount and quality ofservice given to the people. His advice to the Youths in Igboland is "Get United as the Bedrock of Igbo Progress and Development": and to the Leadership, he pleads. "You should be honest in your dealings with the people you serve and have a sense ofdirection". Hon. John Anichukwu has ahappy family which he enjoys in spite ofhis hectic administrative and political duties.
