Mr. Oberu Aribiah is a nominated member of the Assembly. He was born on the 1st of May. 1938, and hails from Umon in Cross River State. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka in 1965 and a Master of Science degree from the University of London in 1968. He is a university senior lecturer. Oberu Aribiah was a member of Cross River State Executive Council between 1975 and 1977. He was awarded a National Honor — Commander of the Order of the Niger in 1979. He is married with three children. His hobbies are reading and music.
