He is an elected member of the Constituent Assembly representing Idemili Federal Constituency of Anambra State. He has Higher Elementary Certificate, GCE CO' &• 'A' Levels) and B.A. (Hons.). He is a retired Permanent Secretary now engaged in Management and Business consultancy. He is married and has six children and likes reading, table tennis and hunting.
