Chief Obafemi Awolowo

Diminutive in size, mighty in action, an Awoist to the core, Adesanya learnt his trade well from his mentor (ChiefAwolowo), and he has been the guiding light for Yoruba pro-democracy activists, aptly dubbed Apamaku (the one who re fused to die) by Chief Bola Ige. His bullet riddled Mercedes Benz is a confirmation of his dogged, ‘never say die’ attitude to enthrone democracy in Nigeria, especially during the evil Abacha regime.
