was born on the 16th August, 1930 (Ebute-Metta South). He is an accountant and a Trade Unionist by Profession. He is a member of the Committee on Finance, Economic Development and also he is a member of the committee on Trade Industry and Trans portation. Mr. Akala attended Ziks College of Commerce where he passed the Cam bridge School Certificate. He graduated with a diploma in Business Studies from London School of Accountancy. He did a course at Cornel University, Ithaca New York and obtain a diploma in industrial and labour relations. Mr. Akala has attended series of conferences and seminars in accoun tancy and labour relations in Europe and America. He is married with nine children.
