He attended both Islamic andEkmentay Schook between 1941 and 1945 before going to Bauchi Middk Schoolfrom 1945to 1949 and School of Agriculture, Samaru Zaria between 1949 and 1950. Hefirst started to work as an AgriculturalAssistant with the Northern Ministy of Agriculture in Akko Distria of Gombefrom 1950 to 1955 before engaging in Private Trading between 1956 and 1962. Hethen joined aprivate Haulage CompanyJIM Corporation Ugosas TransportManagingfrom 1962 to 1971. In 1972, heformed the A.B. Manu and Company Nigeria Ud, and secured Haulage Contraasfrom Government andnon government organisations including the defuna North Western State Government, Ashaka Cement Factoy, StyrNigeria Udand Government CoastalAgeny.
