Biography Entry:
Honourable Alhaji Abdulkadiri Zakari was born in December 1939 at Wase, Plateau State. Alhaji Zakari attended the Wase Primary School and the Central School, Pankshin. He had professional training at the Soil Conserva tion Training Centre, Langtang where he was awarded the Soil Conservation Instructor Cer tificate in 1957. He continued his training at the Farm Training Centre, Lowland and at the School of Agriculture, Samaru, Zaria. After many years of practical work, he was awarded a General Agriculture Certificate (H/Diploma) in 1975. He was an Agricultural Assistant from 1961 to 1968 at Wase Local Government Council and Agricultural Supervisor from 1968 — 1975. He was also a member of the local school board between 1976 - 1979. He has visited Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Benin and he likes horse riding, farming and sports. Alhaji Zakari has three wives and five children. He is a member of the Nigeria Peoples' Par ty and represents Wase Constituency, Plateau State in the House of Representatives.
