PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY Muhammadu Sulaiman was bom in 1934 into the Keffi ruling house, a descendant of Umaru Albarka, first son of Abdu Zangathe founderof"Keffi. He started his education in the Islamic Schook before enrolling into Keffi Ekmentary School in 1942-46; Benue Middk School Katisna-Ala 1947-51; Bauchi Teachers Training Colkge 1952-53 and finished in Katsina Higher Training Colkge 1955-56. He started teaching inAbuja SeniorPrimary School 1957; Laminga SeniorPrimary School 1958-60; and then Headmaster at Keffi SeniorPrimary School 1961. He jointed the Keffi NA. and served as Councilkrfor Works, later ekcted into tbeNortbern House of Assembly under the platform of the NPC; appointed Parliamentary Secretary in theMinistry of Establishment and Training and remained there till the 1966 coup which sacked the government. After the coup, hejoined the services of the Kano International Airport as Higher Executive Officer (Admin); ako served as the Executive Chairman, Plateau Housing Corporation; got appointment as the UTC Area Manager in 1978. Biographical overview

Ambassador to Sudan in 1984-89. When he returned home, he was appointed Chairman Governing Council of the Federal Colkge of Education, Pankshin and servedNigeria again as a member of tbe University of Lagos Board of Governors. Whik in Sudan, the country's Governor awarded him the GCOTN as a mark of appreciation for his meritorious and exemplary service. In 1972, he was turbaned the Dan lyan Keffi to associate fully with tbe traditional administration of the area. He/died on 19th of Oaober 2001.
