Alhaji Bashir Wudil was born in 1940 at Wudil town in Kano State. He represents Nasara Con stituency, Kano State in the House of Representatives and was elected under the umbrella of the PRP. He attended the Wudil Primary School, Kano from 1949 to 1953. He went to Shahuci Judicial School from 1955 to 1956 and between 1957 to 1959, he attended the Gwarzo Senior Primary School before going to the Wudil Teacher's College from 1966 to 1967. He had his Grade II Teachers' Certificate in 1969 and the Advanced English Language Papers one and two of the West African Ex amination Council in 1971. He got married to Mrs. Habiba Bashir in 1976 and has five children. His father, Mallam Huzaibatu is scribe. He has seven children while his mother, Hajiya Malima, also from Wudil, has four children. He has been to the Republic of Niger, Republic of Chad and the Republic of Cameroun. His interests include watching of football games and television. He is a muslim by faith.
