Hon. Alhaji Bello Mohammed was born on the 30th of March 1946 at Gwadabawa in Sokoto State. Alhaji Mohammed isa muslimbyreligion.He is one of the 16 children of his father, a farmer. His mother, Hajiya Rabi Rabihas eight children. He got married to his wives, Hajiya Hajara Mohammed and Hajiya Dije Mohammed in 1966 and 1973 respectively. He is a father of four children. Alhaji Mohammed attended the Town PrimarySchool, Gwadabawa (1957-60) and the Day School, Gwadabawa (1960-63), he also at tended Sultan Abubakar College from 1965 to 1970. In 1975 he attended a course on Education Improvement. He has a School Leaving Certificate (1963), and a Teachers' Grade II Certificate (1971). He was also awarded a certificate in Education Improvement in 1976. He was a vice headmaster from January 1971 to December 1971. He became a headmaster from 1972 to 1975. From 1976 to 1978 he was N.T.T. School Supervisor. He was in the teaching field as a teacher and headmaster for 10 years. He was also an organising secretary for the Gwandabawa Local Government N.P.N. Branch from October 1978 to September 1979. Alhaji Mohammed has visited Niger Republic, Benin, Togo, Ghana and Saudi Arabia. His interest include reading history, travell ing, driving and cultural dances. He became a member of the House of Representatives on the platform of the National Party of Nigeria and represents lllela Constituency Sokoto State.
