Alhaji Hassan Adamu is a highly regarded Administrator, Business Man and a politician who has distinguished himself in various positions of authority within and outside Nigeria. The Wakili of Adamawa holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Transport Studies, from University of London (1966) and has served variously as a Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development as well as that of Environment. Ibrahim has had an enviable work experience since he joined the Kano State Public Service in 1975 after compulsory one-year National Service. From a relatively junior position of an Administrative Officer in the Cabinet Office of the Kano State Government, he rose to the post of Permanent Secretary within a period of ten years due to hard and diligent work. He served in several Ministries and Departments until 1989 when he joined the NDIC. He was also Nigeria’s Ambassador to the USA, as well as President of Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN). The Wakili of Adamawa who served as Chairman and Director of several organizations, is a founding member of the PDP and member of PDP Board of Trustees representing Adamawa State. He was born in Yola, present Adamawa State in 1940.
