EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN KABO AIR Adamu Dankabo was bom in Kabo, Kano State on the 3rd of April 1942. After the usual Qur'anic and Primary Education at home, he went to Government Secondary School, Kano, Federal Training Centre, Kaduna and Aviation Commercial Training College Maryland, USA in that order. At the end of his Professional Training he obtained a Diploma in Aviation Marketing. For all his working life, Alhaji Adamu was in the Aviation Industry. He was the Northern States Saks Representative of the Nigeria Airways and later Representative of the Airline in Monrovia, Liberia. Following the liberalisation of Air Transportation in the Country in the eighties, Alhaji Adamu Dankabo incorporated KABO TRAVELS, as one of the pioneer private operators in the county. From then, Kabo Air has become synonymous with prompt and efficient Air Transportation in Nigeria. With a striking business sense, hard work, discipline and determination to succeed, he built the Airline from america carrier to a formidable International Connector. For the past ftfteen years, Kabo Air has been responsible for lifting over fifty percent of 'Nigeria's Pilgrims to the Holy Land Mecca. Alhaji Adamu Dankabo, one of the pioneer private operators went into the business when the unending queues of passengers at various domestic terminal were becoming an embarrassment to the government. The development and entry of others into the Airline business can be directly linked to the success story of Kabo Air, which has continued to grow by heaps and bounds. The great Nigerian, Alhaji Adamu Dankabo died in 2002 but the well established and well-nurtured Kabo Air flies on.
