IBRAHIM, Alhaji Muhammadu Anwal

was born in September, 1941, at Suleija (the former Abuja). After attending primary school at Abuja and Secondary School in Bida, he went to the school of Arabic Stu dies, then to Abdulahi Bayero College. Kano where he obtained the Bachelor of Arts degree in 1967. 189 He later did post-graduate studies at the University of Lancaster and was a part-time doctorate research student at the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. in 1967, he joined ABU as a lectu rer. Between 1967 and 1973, he was acting Registrar of Bayero College be fore he was seconded to the Niger State government in 1976.
