Alhaji Rabiu Tabako was born in Rogo Karaye District in Kano State in 1945. He con tested and won a seat in the Federal House of Representatives under the umbrella of the P.R.P. He represents the Gwarzo Constituen cy. His father, Mallam Alhassan was born in 1880 at Rogo. Hewas a farmer and had sixteen children. His Mother Madam Aishatu Alhassan "had eight children. He attended Primary School from 1952 to 1956. He also went to the Gwarzo Middle School from 1957 to 1959. He was a pupil teacher at the Karabe Primary School from 1959 to 1965. He taught at the Rogo Primary School from 1966 to 1968 and at another school from 1969 to 1970. He was a Nigerian Tobacco Company shop keeper and salesman at Gwarzo between 1970 and 1979. Alhaji Rabiu Tabako is married to two wives - Asama'u Alhaja Rabiu and Rayya Rabiu. They have seven children. Alhaji Tabako likes sports.
