Alhaji Shuaibu was born in 1941 at Tsonga Kwara State his home town. He is a muslim and one of the seven children of his father, Mallam Kasimu, a farmer. His mother is Madam Fatuma Kasimu. He got married to his two wives Hajiya Adama Shaibu and Hajiya Adishetu Shuaibu in December 1962. He is a father of five children. Alhaji Julde attended the following educa tional institutions: Tsonga Elementary School (1949-52); Patigi Senior Primary School (1953-55; Bida Teachers' College (1958-60); and llorin Teachers' College (1965-66). His educational and professional qualifica tions include: First School Leaving Certificate 1955; Teacher Grade Three Certificate 1961; and Teacher Grade Two Certificate 1967. Alhaji Julde was the teacher in charge of Kpandarigi l.SMB School from 1961 to 1962. He was an Assistant Headmaster of the Lafiaji Central School from 1963 to 1967, and held the post of headmaster Dugami LSMB School from 1968 to 1972. He also worked as a Field Assistant to the defunct Kwara Food Company from 1973 to 1974. From 1976 to 1978, he was Supervisory Councillor for Works, and Housing. Alhaji Julde has visited Southern Cameroun and Saudi Arabia. His hobbies include basket ball, cricket and football. He became a member of the House of Representatives on the platform of the National Party of Nigeria and represents Edu Constituen cy, Kwara State
