Commerce andIndustry, in1958 andreappointed 1959. He remained a Federal Minister till 1966 when their government was brutally sacked by a band of bloodthirsty solders. Dipcharimas bravery anddiplomacyfoundemphatic expressionjust afterthe brutalmurderof the Sardauna, Tafawa Balewa and others. Then Zanna BukarDipcharima, took over the mantle of national leadership trouble-shooting andeasing nerves. Hejustmissed being made the acting Prime Minister of the country when it became clearthatthe coupplotters hadahidden agenda concerning theirtrue intent. Again his urbanity and intelligence were to see him through between 1966 and 1969 when he opted to do private business which he did successfully. The delectable politician / Businessman died in a private plane crash in Kano in 1969.
