Mr. Mohammed Aliyu, an elected member, represents Anka Federal Constituency, Sokoto State. He was born in Anka in 1953. He attended Primary School (Waziri Ward) Sokoto, 1960—66; Government Secondary School, Gusau, 1967-71; School of Basic Studies (ABU), Zaria 1972-73 and Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, 1973—76. Mr. Aliyu is a civil servant and a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management. He is married with six children and has interest in sports.
