Dr. Aliyu Shuaibu Ambursa, an elected member, represents Birnin Kebbi Federal Constituency, Sokoto State. He was born in Ambursa, Sokoto State on October 30 1955. He obtained WASC in 1973, and BA.Ed. from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in 1978. From the University of Jos in 1982, he obtained M.Ed, and Ph.D. in 1987 from Wales, United Kingdom. Dr. Ambursa is a lecturer at the College of Education, Sokoto. He is also the President. Senior Staff Association of College of Education. He is married with three children. His hobbies are squash, cross country and visiting.
