Mr. Nweke Anyigor Anambra State Commissioner for Special Duties, was born on June 20, 1948 and is from Bcwo Local Government area. He had his primary education between 1956 and 1963 after which he passed his First School Leaving Certificate with distinction. He later gained admission the next year to the Presbyterian Secondary School, Abakaliki, 1964-67 He passed his West African School Certificate in Grade One as an external candidate in 1969 and in 1970-75, he studied Animal Science at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka gradua ting B.Sc. His working experience is quite varied, ranging from NORCAP work to a short spell in the Police Force at Lagos and Kaduna, to make a study of the mounted squadron, 1975-76. Bet ween 1976 and 1979, he was leader of the NORCAP Animal Section as well as the Director of the organisation's Training and Scholarship programmes. He had undertaken several studies relatedto hisfieldof speciaUsation. He is very keen on rural and evangelical activities.
