Chief Jacob Oluwatuyi Ashaju, an elected member, represents Obokun Federal Constituency, Oyo State. He was born on October 27, 1938 in Ipetu-ljesha. He attended St. Paul's School, Ipetu-ljesha, L.A. Modern School, Ipetu-ljesha, D.T.T.C, IIesha, University of Ife (Obafemi Awolowo University) and the University of Ibadan. Chief Oluwatuyi is a teacher and an author. He has written many books, among which, are Eleventh Hcur Revision notes on government (1970), Eleventh Hour Revision notes on Economics (1976), and Short Cut Accounts for Senior Secondary Schools (1986). He is married with five children. His hobbies are football, farming and writing.
