He attended Bambur Primary School, 1948-62; Jen Primary School, 1963-65; Gombe Teachers' College, 1966-70; Advanced Teachers' College, Zaria, 1972—75 and Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, 1975—78 where he obtained a B.A. Hons. Mr. Audu is a teacher and is married with four children. His hobbies are music, athletics and travelling.
