Mr.Madaki started his Primary Education at Bagale Junior Primary School 1960-63 and Numan Senior Primary 1964-66. In 1967 he proceeded to Numan Teachers' College from where he obtained his Grade 11 Teachers' Certificate in 1972. In September 1973 he went to the University of Ibadan for a Diploma Course in Bio logy which he completed in June 1974 As from January 1973 to Augustof the same year, Mr. Madaki was a tea cher at Muri L.E.A. Primary School. He was later made a Supervisor of Adult Education in the former North East from July 1974 to November 1974. In December of 1974 he again reverted to the classroom when he took up teaching at Teachers' College, Yola until November 1976. With the recent Local Government Reforms and the subsequent establish ment of Local Government Councils in the State, he was elected into the Fufore Local Government Council. He was made a supervisory councillor from February 1977 to March 1979. Mr. Joel Hammajoda Madaki, a christain, is married with three children. He spends his leisure hour fishing, gardening, swimming or story-telling.
