Hon Ahmad Babba Kaita was born on September 8th, 1968 in Katsina State, Nigeria. He is a member of the Nigerian House of Representatives, representing Kankia, Ingawa, and Kusada Federal Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives.Hon Kaita graduated from Kufena college Wusasa Zaria in Kaduna State.
Hon Kaita began his career as a business man, and then a politician with passion of making new friends. He was elected in 2011 to represent Kankia/Ingawa/Kusada Federal Constituency at the National Assembly. He was elected on the platform of Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) which later merged with other parties to form All Progressive Congress (APC) in 2014. He was re-elected in 2015 under the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC).Hon Kaita's elder brother, Alhaji Kabir Babba Kaita, is a retired customs officer.
