Born March 27, 1929at Somo- rika-Okpameri in Akoko Edo Local Government, Bendel State, Education: St. David's School, Akure; Govern ment College, Ibadan; Yaba College of Technology: Diploma and Certificates in Automobile Engineering; Worked in Western Region Ministry of Works and Transport, Ibadan 1951-52; Ministry of Agriculture (Engineering Branch, 1952-61; In-service training and private courses: Passed City and Guilds exam of the University of London in Automobile Engineering; tough engi neering and farm mechanisation at School of Agriculture, Akure in 1961; 1962 and in Ministry of Education; Ibadan as tutor at Trade Centre, Oyo; transferred Government Trade Centre Sapele in 1963; later Ministry of Agriculture Benin City in-charge, farm mechanisation workshop; 1967: Farm Farm Institute, Agbrho, Warri, retired voluntarily on October 8, 1968. Joined Shell-BP Petroleum Develop ment Co., Warri in 1968, resigned in 1978; Chairman, Akoko-Edo Branch of Unity Party of Nigeria 1978. Mar ried with five children; Elected UPN member for Akoko-Edo in House of Representatives.
