Peoples Redemption Party Senator for lkara/ Zaria/Birnin Gwari constituency, a Pharmacist; born on January 7, 1936 at Zaria in Kaduna State; attended Zaria Primary School, 1944-48; Zaria Middle School, 1948-49; the Barewa College, 1950-54; the School of Phar macy, Zaria, 1954-58; qualified as a pharmacist; joined the then Northern Region Ministry of Health (Hospital Pharmacy Division) in 1959; resigned six years later; joined Pfizer (Nig.) Ltd. as medical Representative for Northern States, 1965-67; set up a business of his own in 1967; Welfare Pharmaceutical Limited Kaduna; also proprietor of Galma Petroleum and Gas Limited at Kilometer 21 Badagry Express Road, Lagos; married to two wives with five children; hobby: sightseeing.
