born in ^ 1937 in Bununu, Bula District; Elemen tary education 194548; Abeokuta > Mechanical School 1957 Lagos Mecha nical Practical Work 1958 and J. ' Aliens Mechnical Course in 1966; Career: Village Scribe in 1950; trans ferred to Bauchi N. A. 1954, first as a clerk and later a Mechanic; He rose from an apprentice to Mechanic Grade II; Head Mechanic and finally Ag. Supervisory of Works for Bauchi Local Government Authority in 1976. He held this post to January, 1978, when he resigned to join active politics. Elected NPN member of Bauchi State House of Assembly for Bula.
