(Pol. Sci) M.Sc. (Public Admins.) was born in 1939. He attended the Kuru Middle School between 1950-52 and Govern ment College, Keffi between 1953-58. In 1959, he gained admission into the Nigerian College of Arts, Science and Technology, Zaria from where he passed out in 1962. Between 1963-65 he attended the University of Califor nia, Los Angeles, U.S.A. where he was awarded B.A. Hons. (Political Science). The following year, he read and obtai ned his post-Graduate Degree, M.Sc. (Public Administration) from the same University. While at his former Univer sity, he instructed U.S. Peace Corps members in Hausa between 1963 to 1965. He also worked as a distribution analyst for the Carnation Company of Los Angeles between 1965-70. He later took up appointment as Distribu tion Manager with the Frite-Lay Com pany, Los Angeles. In 1975, however, he came back home to Nigeria, and was employed as an Administrative Officer with the Plateau State Govem ment, until 1977 when he was elected to represent Jos L.G.C. in the dissol ved Constituent Assembly, which wrote the present Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Until his present appointment, he was an Executive Member of the Nigerian People's Party (NPP), Plateau State Branch. He is married with two children.
