Gombe Emirate, 1949-50; Pupil Tea cher at Biri in Nafada District of Gombe Emirate 1951; Adult Educa tion Organiser, Gombe Native Autho rity; Senior Adult Education Organiser, Gombe Native Authority- 1966-68; joined the services of the Stirling' Astaldi Company Nigeria limited, as a wages Clerk in Gombe and other sites and later at Headquarters, Kaduan, 1966-78; resigned from the Stirling Astaldi Company and joined politics in 1978; Elected GNPP mem> ber of the Bauchi State House of Assembly for Deba North.
