SAMPSON BASSEY
Mr. Sampson Bassey Evong is an elected member of the Assembly representing Akamkpa Federal Constituency of Cross River State. He was born on July 26, 1946 in his home town, Akpet in Cross River State. He attended Akpet Central Presbyterian School from 1951—58 and Teachers' Training College, Ididep-ltu from 1963-66. In 1975, he proceeded to University of Lagos where he ob tained a degree in 1978. He is presently the Bursar, School of Basic Studies, Akamkpa. Mr. Evong is married with seven children. His hobbies are reading and photography.
