Dr. Habu Gidado was born on April 15, 1956 in Bauchi. He hails from Joma'are in Bauchi Sta'c He is an elected member from the Jama are/Disina Federal Constituency in Bauchi State. He attended Kobi Primary School, Bauchi, 1962-68. From 1969-73, he went to Govern ment Secondary School,Bauchi. He later went to Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, 1976-81 where he read medicine. He is a private medical practitioner. Dr. Gidado is the Chairman, Jama'are District Health Management Board and also a member of Bauchi State Sports Council. He is married with three children and takes interest in swimming and current affairs.
